9:54 a.m. A deputy took a report for a vehicle break-in and the theft of a Ruger 9 mm handgun a damaged cellphone in the 12700 block of U.S. Highway 491.

Wednesday, May 22

6:47 p.m. A deputy took a report for a fight that between two men in the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Wednesday, May 29

10:39 a.m. A deputy executed serving a warrant to a man turning himself into the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

4:11 p.m. A deputy took a report for contraband that was found in the personal effects of an inmate that was transported from a different facility to be detained at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

8:01 p.m. A deputy investigated a report for a suspected vehicle that was similar to one reported as the suspected hit-and-run offender at 508 E. Main St.

10:04 p.m. A deputy took a report for an alleged assault in the 14400 block of Road 22.

12:12 a.m. A man was arrested on a warrant in the 12000 block of Highway 145.

12:45 a.m. A deputy took a report for a suspected DUI motorcycle crash at the intersection of Roads 25 and H.

5:36 a.m. A deputy responding to a suspected shoplifting report at the Love’s Truck Stop, 7006 U.S. Highway 160, arrested two men on warrants and issued an indefinite trespass order.

8:42 a.m. A deputy took a report for identity theft in the 14800 block of Road 29 in Dolores.

Friday, May 31

1:30 p.m. A deputy executed a warrant from Kansas to a man who was remanded by the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. The man was placed into the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

9:14 p.m. A deputy took a report for the theft of an antique sign in the 35800 block of Road H.5 in Mancos.

Sunday, June 2

8:44 p.m. A deputy took a report for an assault in the 200 block of North 19th St. in Dolores. The deputy requested a warrant be issued to a woman who assaulted and at risk person. Charges that were filed include crimes against at-risk persons, robbery assault in the third-degree, and theft of $300 to $1,000.

Monday, June 3

4:50 p.m. An officer took a report for an assault where a man was attacked for speeding by another man that discharged a fire extinguisher at him in the 28300 block of Road K.2 in Cortez.

Tuesday, June 4

11:34 a.m. A deputy executed serving a warrant to a woman turning herself into the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
