Alex Bowman stayed on wet tires for track position on a drying Chicago street course, then held off Tyler Reddick and Joey Hand to win the Grant Park 165 NASCAR Cup Series race and lock in his place in the playoffs.

Bowman passed Hand just before the final caution during the truncated final stage due to darkness, then pushed out to a large lead on the final stint before Reddick made a charge on slick tires.

But Reddick tagged the wall in turn 5 during the final lap, allowing Bowman to pull away again for the win. Bowman ended an 80-race winless streak with the victory.

The race ended after 58 laps, short of the 75-lap distance due to impending darkness. The race was delayed by a 103-minute red flag for heavy rain.

Here are the full unofficial results for Sunday's race.
