It's almost time to get your deal on with Amazon Prime Day!

Amazon Prime Day 2024 is just a few weeks away with a wide range of deals for people who have Amazon Prime. The company usually slashes prices on thousands of items from electronics, clothing, shoes, toys and more. This year the sale will take place on July 16-17, the company announced on Tuesday.

It may be Prime Day, but it typically takes place in a 48-hour window and also marks when we are about halfway through the year.

When is Amazon Prime Day 2024?

Amazon Prime Day will start at 2 a.m. CT/ 3 a.m. ET on July 16 and runs through July 17, the company announced Tuesday.

Who can buy things on Amazon Prime Day?

Only people with Amazon Prime subscriptions can access the Prime Day deals when they drop.

Here's where you can sign up for a free trial or join Prime. Newcomers can get a 30-day free trial, and after which pay the monthly fee of $14.99.

How big is Amazon Prime Day?

The first 24 hours of Amazon Prime Day in 2023 was the company's largest sale day ever. More than 375 million items were purchased and customers saved $2.5 billion through the deals, according to Amazon.
