Hardly two hours after one of Bonnaroo's biggest acts, Chappell Roan finished a powerful show, festival officials temporarily suspended performances for a weather threat.

The Charles Wesley Godwin show was close to finishing before the worsening rain forced them to suspend the rest of the performance temporarily.

Fans, who also were in the midst of lining up for the next big acts like Ashnikko, Carly Rae Jepsen, Megan Thee Stallion, and Taking Back Sunday, among others, were cleared from tents and told to stay away from structures in case of lightning or high winds.

The weather delay was lifted just after 6:20 p.m. with officials allowing fans to return to tents and other structures.

Several shows including Ashnikko, Goth Babe and Greensky Bluegrass were pushed back to 6:45 p.m. Jason Isbell and the 400 Unite and Taking Back Sunday are now at 8:45 p.m.
