In preparation for the premiere of Paper Towns (one more week!), Cara Delevingne has been doing nonstop press pretty much every waking moment, and with each and every appearance, she successfully proves herself to be even more charming than we believed could be possible.

She masterfully beat-boxed on The Tonight Show, artfully strummed a guitar — behind her head, no less — on a Spanish talk show, and candidly (not to mention heroically) talked to Vogue about her bout with depression. And now, in her latest interview with the New York Times, opened up about something she's never spoken out about: her rumored drug use.

Back in 2013, just as her modeling career was sky-rocketing, she was caught by paparazzi with a plastic bag of white powder at her feet. Over the years, she hasn't admitted, denied, or even acknowledged the incident. Now, she's ready to talk about it — and anything else you want to ask her, too. “I was a kid, you know? I still am in so many ways, and I’m so lucky, but I think everyone needs a bit of a slap in the face, and a reminder that no one is invincible. That’s what it was for me," she told the reporter. "Especially with young people seeing the film, I want to be clear: I’m so far away from drugs that I couldn’t possibly be further way, and whatever happened in the past is in the past, it just doesn’t exist anymore.”

She also opened up about dating indie rocker St. Vincent, being in love, and dealing with her bisexuality being dismissed as a phase. “My sexuality is not a phase. I am who I am," she said, and continued: “If you’re in love with someone, you can be with them like no one else is in the room. Acting is like that. It’s like taking that feeling and turning it on so nothing else matters when you’re looking in another actor’s face.”

Despite finding so much success as a catwalker, Cara's been outspoken about how much she loathes modeling and loves acting. Fortunately, if Paper Towns is any indication, acting seems to love her right back. “People can put you in whatever box: model, whatever,” she said. “But if I just keep going and actually do it well, which I hope I can, then I hope people will give me more movies — and I’ll win an Oscar!”

She has our vote.
