Dearest gentle reader, it seems like the Bridgerton cast had a blast partaking in some viral dances in between takes while filming season 3, and one actor, in particular, is gaining undivided attention from fans: Claudia Jessie, who plays Eloise Bridgerton.

Since the premiere of Part 2 of Bridgerton season 3 on June 13, 2023, the Bridgerton cast has been sharing behind-the-scenes snippets aplenty with fans online, some, like Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington, in the form of film pictures from the set. Evidence A:

And others, like Emma Naomi, who plays Alice Mondrich, in the form of videos, which you can see below. Shortly after the premiere of Part 2, Naomi took to Instagram to share a video of herself and her castmates doing the TikTok-viral dance of Beyoncé's “Cuff It,” which took over the social app around a year ago — likely when Bridgerton season 3 was being filmed.

Noami's video immediately blew up among Bridgerton fans, with many praising Claudia Jessie for her moves. By popular demand, Naomi made the executive decision to upload the clip to her reels so fans could rewatch it to their hearts' content and gave a little shout out to the people's dance princess in her caption, writing, “Yes, Eloise 👀.”

People in the comment section did not hesitate to hype up Claudia Eloise, either. “Eloise was told to either dance her heart and soul out to this or with another suitor,” someone commented. “Eloise has been waiting for this moment since the 1800s,” another user added. “Miss Eloise Bridgerton ATE and left NO crumbs!!!” a third one wrote.

That video posted by Naomi is not the only one going viral. On his page, Caleb Obediah, who plays Lord Cho on the show, posted another “Cuff It” version with even more members of the cast involved — and still, Eloise stole the show.

“Eloise could be the diamond if she hit the dance floor with this energy,” someone commented. “Eloise refuses to dance cus she knows she’d eat everybody up,” someone added. “Eloise can DANCE!!!! She’s moving those hips like nobody’s business,” a third one noted.

If you are thinking, “Okay, maybe she just has the ‘Cuff It’ on lock but can't do other dances?” then you'd be wrong. Naomi posted yet another video doing yet another TikTok dance challenge (this one set to Oxlade's "Ku lo sa"), and Jessie was just as good.

“Eloise really do be killing it,” someone commented with a hearts-eye emoji. “Eloise carrying the team on her back,” someone else wrote. “Eloise is not to be played with,” a third person added.

The videos are spreading far and wide among social media, with many reposting them on TikTok and adding their own commentary. “Claudia owned that dance," a user wrote about Jessie's dancing. “Claudia hit every beat. Her rhythm is impeccable," another added.

In the comments of another video, someone pointed out: “Claudia Jessie dancing is a masterpiece." “I’m obsessed with Claudia, she overshadows everyone and follows the rhythm perfectly," commented another.

In fact, if you go look up the actor on TikTok now, “Claudia Jessie dancing” is the first result over just her name.

Though we might only just now be privy to the actual videos, Nicola Coughlan actually let us all know how good Jessie was at dancing in a Wired autocomplete interview from May.

“[Claudia] can dance really well,” Coughlan says at one point in the interview. “We were really annoyed one day. We were sat in a room, and you were doing the TikTok dances with some of Eloise's ladies, and we were, like, really annoyed that she can act and sing and dance.” Jessie's answers? You have to see it for yourself:

Jessie's dancing might seem harmless on paper, but it's actually the reason why Jessie wore a “summer muff” during most of season 3 to hide her cast.

Speaking to Stephen Colbert on The Late Show, Jessie recounted how she injured her wrist after attempting to do a high kick wearing one of the show's Regency-era-inspired dresses. “It was a Friday morning. It was like 8 — we hadn't even started filming, I feel so bad — and to celebrate everybody's good moods, I did a high-kick,” Jessie narrated, before adding that she's not a dancer. (The proofs above beg to differ.)

Jessie continued the story, blaming the tight dress for the mishap. “The circumference of the dress is finite," she said, “so when I put my leg up, I was restricted immediately, and then I went back.” She landed on her wrist, and the next thing she knew, the on-set medic came for her.
