Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse police are asking for the public’s help to find a 30-year-old man wanted in a homicide case.

Donquan Jones, 30, is wanted in connection with the murder of 28-year-old Willy Stridiron, Syracuse police said Tuesday. Stridiron was fatally stabbed behind a home at 245 Lincoln Ave. on June 15.

Another man — Darnell K. Jones — was arrested and charged on June 21 with killing Stridiron. Police at the time said Darnell Jones acted with another person to kill Stridiron.

Police Tuesday announced they are looking for Donquan Jones. They said his last known address is 228 Palmer Ave. in Syracuse.

Darnell Jones was arrested in the 1000 block of Midland Avenue, about half a mile from where Stridiron was stabbed. He was charged with second-degree murder, police said.

Police said Stridiron attempted to flee from Darnell Jones and another assailant following a physical altercation between the three, police said. Stridiron ran behind a home on Lincoln Avenue where another physical altercation took place, they said.

Stridiron was stabbed several times with a knife, police said.

Police asked anyone with information about Donquan Jones’ whereabouts to contact them at (315) 442-5222.
