Man flees after being accused of sex abuse of 11-year-old, found and arrested by Fulton Police

Fulton, N.Y. — A man fled Fulton after being accused of sexually abusing an 11-year-old child but later was arrested in the Hudson Valley, police said.

Christopher J. Rico, 39, of Middletown, had sexual contact with the 11-year-old over several months, said Sgt. Lucas H. Hollenbeck, a spokesperson for the Fulton police. Some of the abuse was recorded on his cell phone, he said Tuesday.

On June 22, a report was made to police about the abuse. After the police report, Rico fled, Hollenbeck said.
