Nedrow, N.Y. — A Nedrow home, its deck and roof were damaged in a fire Monday.
Firefighters responded to the structure fire at 330 Everingham Road around 10 a.m., according to Nedrow and Taunton fire departments.
When Nedrow firefighters arrived, they found the fire at the rear of the home, they said.
A fire on the deck spread to the home and burned through its roof, firefighters said.
Firefighters opened areas of the home’s roof to expose hidden fire, they said.
With the assistance other fire departments, it took over two hours to clear the scene, Nedrow Fire Department said.
