Man shot multiple times in Syracuse, police say

Syracuse, N.Y. — A man was dropped off at a Syracuse hospital early Saturday morning with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.

The 31-year-old man was taken to Upstate University Hospital in a private vehicle around 12:44 a.m., police said in a statement.

The man is listed in stable condition, they said.

Shortly before he was dropped off, police were called to the 1300 block of South State Street for a ShotSpotter activation. Multiple casings were found in the area, police said.
