Dr. John Nakayama
Gynecologic Oncologist
Allegheny Health Network
Dr. John Nakayama is a gynecologic oncologist at Allegheny Health Network based in Pittsburgh. Previously he was a gynecologic oncologist at University Hospitals in Cleveland, and assistant professor in the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He was also director of robotic surgery at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. His research focuses on minimally invasive surgery, as well as on improving patient safety and outcomes.
After earning his medical degree from the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine and finishing his residency at Duke University Medical Center, Dr. Nakayama completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
