UPDATED:

Dolly Parton’s new holiday movie will feature a trio of powerhouses.

Three time-Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Debbie Allen directs the country music icon in “Christmas on the Square” for Netflix.

Named after her latest yuletide tune, the movie also stars theater and television veterans Christine Baranski and Jenifer Lewis and is set to premiere on the streaming platform Nov. 22.

Baranski, the “Good Fight” star, will portray a rich and nasty woman named Regina Fuller who returns to her small hometown after her father’s death to evict everyone and sell the land to a mall developer — right before Christmas.

However, after listening to stories of the local townsfolk, reconnecting with an old love, and accepting the guidance of an actual angel, portrayed by Parton, she starts to have a change of heart.

Lewis, of “Black-ish,” plays a beauty shop owner and the closest thing she has to a friend.

Allen, Baranski and Lewis are accomplished actresses of the stage and screens, both big and small.

“It’s more than just a song…it’s also a musical!” Parton wrote on Instagram Tuesday announcing the film.

Also starring Treat Williams, Jeanine Mason, Mary Lane Haskell, Matthew Johnson and Selah Kimbo Jones, “Christmas on the Square” will feature 12 original songs by the nine-time Grammy Award winning legend.

The launch date for Parton’s newest Netflix is exactly one year after the debut of “Heartstrings,” an anthology series based on Parton’s songs.

One of the eight installments, “These Old Bones,” earned an Emmy nomination for outstanding TV movie earlier this year.

On Oct. 2, her first holiday album in 30 years, “A Holly Dolly Christmas” is scheduled to be released featuring collaborations with Miley Cyrus, Willie Nelson, Michael Bublé and Billy Ray Cyrus.
