Wouldn't it be nice to wake up one morning and the news was, "Average daily global temperature the same as last year due to cooperation to decrease carbon emissions"?
Or how about this: "Deaths from gun violence down two years in a row since sensible gun laws went into effect across the U.S."?
The majority of news today is depressing. I understand that these have to be reported but wouldn't it be nice to hear some really good "feel-good stories" like the above?
Is the United States too partisan to cooperate on issues that affect the welfare of the general public? Is it possible for nations to cooperate globally for the same?
The general public wants clean water, adequate food sources, home security, and general safety when going to work and play.
