A teenager died in a crash Thursday night on West Florissant Avenue and Thrush Avenue.
Police identified the victim as 17-year-old Keandre Draper of St. Louis.
The crash happened just before midnight Thursday. Two vehicles collided, and then one of the cars hit two parked cars.
Police said an Infiniti Q50 was going the wrong way before the collision, heading west in the eastbound lanes of West Florissant. Draper was an occupant of the Infiniti, said St. Louis police Sgt. Charles Wall.
A Mercury Milan was also heading west, but in the proper lane.
The Mercury tried to turn left from West Florissant, crossing the eastbound lanes, when it was hit by the Infiniti. The impact caused the Infiniti to hit two parked cars.
Two people in the Infiniti may have run off after the crash, police said. Draper died at the hospital. He lived in the 4700 block of Tesson Street in St. Louis.
A 21-year-old woman driving the Mercury and a 17-year-old girl who was a passenger were taken to a hospital for treatment. They were stable, police said.
