In the summer, St. Louis comes out to play.
Why not? It’s hot. It’s humid. School is out. And there are so many things to do.
We’re talking popular music of every conceivable variety. We’re talking classical music, from ensembles to orchestral to operatic. We’re talking a season packed full of theater. We’re talking festivals and parades and even championship powerboat races.
We’re not even talking about the Cardinals. Let’s not talk about the Cardinals, OK?
The point is that there are countless fun things to do throughout the St. Louis area from Memorial Day to Labor Day — as many things to do as there are days in the summer.
What follows are lists of many performances and shows and activities and events and you can try. Many, but not all. Not nearly all.
