Fireworks from Fair St. Louis' July 4th Fireworks Spectacular are seen from Kiener Plaza through the Gateway Arch and the Old Courthouse in 2023.
This Fourth of July, Celebrate St. Louis brings back the biggest celebration in town.
Organizers consolidated the city's annual parade and Fair St. Louis into Celebrate St. Louis earlier this year. The majority volunteer-run event is sponsored by private donations. The festivities themselves, which take place over the course of a single day, include concerts, vendors, performances and fireworks.
For America’s 248th birthday, the celebration kicks off when the Misty Blues All-Female Skydiving Team takes its first jump at 10 a.m. Planned events for the day include:

“I hope families really enjoy getting to see their city and seeing all the organizations that are involved, and getting some great family time,” Tim Meers, general chairman of Celebrate St. Louis, says.
In addition to their annual Independence Day festivities, Celebrate St. Louis produces year-round events, such as the Gateway Legends Tournament esports tournament.
“There is something for everyone,” Meers says. “I’m most excited about showing off all of the elements that the community has historically been a part of.”
