Operating costs of the Welsh Rugby Union in Wales from 2014 to 2023, by type
During the 2022/23 financial year, the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) in Wales spent 16.1 million British pounds on performance rugby, which was the largest individual operating cost reported that financial year. While spending on performance rugby was down from the previous year, it was significantly higher than in 2013/14 to 2020/21, when it never exceeded six million British pounds.
