Alex Ovechkin was the joint highest paid player in the National Hockey League in the 2023/24 season. The Washington Capitals player earned 12.5 million U.S. dollars in wages and a further five million U.S. dollars through endorsements with the likes of Nike, Coca-Cola, and Hublot.
