The most famous backup quarterback in the country is finally joining EA Sports' College Football '25.

In a collab advertisement with his uncle Eli Manning, Texas quarterback Arch Manning announced Tuesday that he'd officially become a playable character in the game. In the ad, the elder Manning calls a play for Arch, who proceeds to yell out an "Omaha" snap count with a headset and pads on.

Will Arch Manning enter the transfer portal?

Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning, right, looks on during spring practice at the Frank Denius practice fields in last year. Manning recently announced that he will be a playable character in EA Sports' College Football '25.

Manning initially decided against being in the game, saying he wished to focus "on playing football on the field," according to an Orangebloods report. He redshirted his freshman season, playing sparingly as the backup to Quinn Ewers and former Texas quarterback Maalik Murphy.

Despite rumors that he might transfer, Manning has been adamant that he will stick with the Longhorns throughout his second year in Austin.

Texas fans got a glimpse of Manning's five-star potential during the Orange-White spring game, when he lit up the defense for 355 passing yards and three touchdown passes. Nevertheless, head coach Steve Sarkisian will be sticking with the veteran Ewers this season.

College Football '25 is currently available for pre-order and will be released world-wide on July 19. Gameplay trailers have been released, which give fans a look into what the highly anticipated game has in store for them.
