Kirk Bohls' final On Second Thought podcast

• Bohls worked for the Austin American-Statesman for 51 years. He has taken a position with the Houston Chronicle.
• Golden will continue to produce the On Second Thought podcast.

This week, former Statesman columnist Kirk Bohls and longtime colleague Cedric Golden appear on their last On Second Thought podcast together after 340 episodes spanning eight years.

They reflect on the beginning of the show, their favorite guests and what it is to come in the future.  They also take a look at the Texas Longhorns off the heels of the SEC Celebration which was their official entrance into college football's toughest league.

After a 51-year run at the Statesman, Bohls has taken a columnist job at the Houston Chronicle while Golden will continue to produce On Second Thought in addition to his columns and videos for the Statesman.
