Walk-in care for outpatient mental health

The Behavioral Health Walk-in Clinic at SSM Health Ripon Community Hospital is a one-of-a-kind service for urgent outpatient mental health needs. Whether you’re in crisis, processing a past crisis, or simply in need of extra support, we are here to help you navigate this experience and work toward wellness.

What to expect

Once a patient arrives in our clinic, they’ll register and meet with a nurse for a triage assessment. Depending on the reason for the visit, patients may be further evaluated/assessed by a psychotherapist or medical provider. The treatment team will address urgent concerns, help make follow-up appointments, and assist with additional resources or inpatient admission as needed.

Some medication issues or concerns may require additional consultation with your care team or additional follow-up that may not be available at the time of service.

The Behavioral Health Walk-in Clinic does not replace a patient's current established medical or mental health care provider. This clinic serves as a resource for urgent care needs while in transition to establishing long-term care with intentions to avoid emergent situations leading to hospitalization. Most major insurance plans are accepted, including Medicaid and Medicare.
