Deep breathing improves cognitive functions and testosterone levels, which decline as men age. Breathwork has additional physiological and mental benefits that we will discuss in this episode.
I’ll share my experience with breathwork, including how power breathing techniques helped me recover from cryptogenic organizing pneumonia that had me on a deathbed. I’ll explain the difference between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems and how breathwork can help activate the body's natural parasympathetic response.

Episode 139 - 10 Commandments of Supplementation for Men Over 40
11 MAY 2024 · Most of us understand that nutrition is a critical pillar of health and wellness. But sometimes, despite our efforts to eat a balanced diet daily, we still have dietary deficiencies, partly because food quality has changed over the years.
Nutritional supplements help us compensate for the deficiencies and improve our overall health. So, today, I'm going to take you behind the scenes of one of our coaching calls, where I talked about the top 10 to 15 supplements for men over 40, why you need them, and how to use them for the best results.
We talked about the role of supplements like creatine, whey protein, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D3 and K2, magnesium, zinc, HMB, probiotics, CoQ10, Vitamin B12, ashwagandha, and saw palmetto in combating age-related muscle loss, promoting gut health, supporting hormonal balance, boosting testosterone, and improving mental, prostate, and overall health.
I also emphasized the importance of sleep in maintaining health and suggested a six-week challenge to enhance sleep quality.
