You didn’t have to wait until next Wednesday to find out the results of the latest WWE Speed tournament, seeing as the promotion apparently learned a lesson from their Clash at the Castle Weekend, when they pre-recorded the championship episode on Friday preceding the premium live event but waited until days later to release it on X (Twitter) at its scheduled time.

Fans had long leaked the results by then, rendering the episode itself mostly moot.

This time around, the results were viewed live from Toronto, the host city of Money in the Bank, as Andrade took on Xavier Woods of The New Day with the WWE Speed title on the line.

A supposed handshake to open the match was converted into a pinfall attempt by Andrade only seconds into the match, savvy indeed, but Woods was able to escape the rollup attempt. The two then exchanged chops as the five-minute timer — exclusive to championship matches only, seeing as non-title matches have three-minute clocks — and the action only turned up from there.

Woods was still looking to finally get his hands on a WWE singles title, and it doesn’t matter which one.

Andrade couldn't care less, though.

With his chest glowing red from Woods’ chops, the legendary luchador unleashed move after move upon Woods before the momentum would shift and nearly result in a win for the latter.

In the end, with less than 45 seconds remaining, Andrade planted Woods into the mat with The Message and earned the three-count, keeping the WWE Speed title in his possession.

Who will earn the next chance at dethroning Andrade?

The next tournament will answer that question but, for now, he’s focused on trying to take home the MITB briefcase after things got heated on the most recent episode of Smackdown.

He wants more, and the briefcase is the way to potentially become Andrade Two Belts.
