There's no better Do-You-Know-Ball metric in the NFL right now than Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith. You either know that Smith has grown into a damn-good starter and is an incredible value compared to other QBs performing at his level, or you're still stuck in 2015 and think he should be nothing more than a backup.

Truth is, Smith is the most accurate passer in the league today and also one of the best deep throwers. Watch Smith showing off his perfect spiral, timing and touch on this long ball while training with second-year wide recevier Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Beautiful stuff.

The connection between Smith and JSN will be one of the most-important elements for head coach Mike Macdonald and his staff to develop this offseason. Former offensive coordinator Shane Waldron certainly bears some responsibility, but this chart shows that they were often out of sync in 2023 and have a lot of work to do.

Smith is heading into his third year as Seattle's starter. He has gone 18-17 so far despite being paired with terrible defensive units and poor offensive lines. If the Seahawks can finally boost the supporting cast around him Smith may be in for a career year.
