New York Yankees closer Clay Holmes was named to the American League All-Star Game, the league announced Sunday.

This is Holmes' second All-Star nod, and he's the third Yankees player to be named to the All-Star team in 2024, joining Aaron Judge and Juan Soto.

In 37 games and 36 innings pitched, Holmes has a 3.00 ERA, 37 strikeouts and eight walks. He has converted 19-of-24 save opportunities.

Holmes' 19 saves are the third-most in the American League behind Cleveland Guardians' Emmanuel Clase (27) and Baltimore Orioles' Craig Kimbrel (22).
