The Major League Cricket (MLC) 2024 season is underway in the United States of America (USA), as cricket fever continues in the country following a successful T20 World Cup 2024 where the USA co-hosted the tournament.

This is the second edition of the MLC, where the first season was won by MI New York, an off shoot of the Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Mumbai Indians.

Faf du Plessis, the captain of the Texas Super Kings scored the first century of the 2024 season against Washington Freedom. In the very next match, fellow South African Ryan Rickelton also posted a century for Seattle Orcas against Los Angeles Knight Riders.
