Tiny homes, big ideas: Expo explores home improvement


 

 

Home is where the heart is. And whether you’re looking to improve your property, downsize your living space or hit the road with your abode, you’ll find a host of ideas at the Ventura Home Improvement Expo and Tiny House Showcase.

The expo takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 23 and 24 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds, 10 W. Harbor Blvd., Ventura.

Residents can learn about the latest trends in home decorating, remodeling and landscaping products and services; tour the expo’s Tiny House Showcase, featuring accessory dwelling units, luxury mini-mansions, yoga huts, backyard cabanas and homes on wheels; attend how-to demos; and play Home Show Bingo.

Experts will be on hand to offer advice on everything from DIY projects to total home makeovers and you can learn what’s new in kitchens, baths, windows, decks, barbecue islands, hot tubs, solar, home security and gardening.
