Simi Valley United Methodist Church is celebrating Christmas in a variety of ways this weekend.
• The church’s 45th annual living nativity is being presented from 6 to 7 p.m. Dec. 23-24 at Erringer Road and Cochran Street.
• A Christmas Eve morning service for kids takes place at 10 a.m. Dec. 24. It includes a children’s pageant and performances by the church’s youth handbell choir.
• A traditional Christmas Eve service of lessons and carols takes place at 7 p.m. Dec. 24. The chancel choir and handbell choirs will perform and there will be plenty of traditional hymn singing.
• The 10 a.m. kids’ service and 7 p.m. traditional service on Dec. 24 will be livestreamed on Facebook for those who can’t attend in person. Go to facebook.com/SimiValleyUMC for more information. Both services will feature an American Sign Language interpreter.
