STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Two winners in New York City took home TAKE 5 jackpot prizes worth more than $9,000, including one winner on Staten Island, according to lottery officials.
The New York Lottery announced two top-prize tickets — worth $9,548 — were sold on July 6 for the midday drawing. One ticket was sold on Staten Island at Honey Bee Convenience, located at 1774 Forest Ave., in Graniteville.
Another prize was sold at Tat Multi Service, located at 117 E Mount Eden Ave., in the Bronx.
TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. To win the TAKE 5 jackpot, match the five numbers on your ticket to the winning five-number combination drawn. It costs $1 per game to play.
The drawing is broadcast on television twice daily at 2:30 and 10:30 p.m. TAKE 5 players with midday and evening draws on the same ticket must check their numbers at nylottery.ny.gov to determine if they have the winning numbers for the corresponding midday or evening drawing.
