Little League NYS All-Star 12s softball: South Shore opens with a win behind Cirillo’s one-hitter

South Shore has taken its first step toward yet another Little League All-Star crown.

The Tottenville loop is already the District 24 and Section 3 South champions on the 12-year-old softball circuit and kicked off the New York State tourney with a 7-2 win over Wappingers Falls on Monday night. Daniella Cirillo struck out eight in a complete-game, one-hitter.
