YORK, Pa. -- The Staten Island FerryHawks ended their three-game series against the York Revolution with a statement 8-7 victory Sunday afternoon on the road.
Staten Island (32-33 overall), which is now 2-0 to begin the second half of the season, saw seven of their nine starters record a multi-hit game. Nate Scantlin’s three-hit, two-RBI outing helped lead the surging offense. The back end of the bullpen held down the powerful York offense to secure the win and the series victory.
