Pipe bomb-wielding man who assaulted woman, allegedly shackled, on Staten Island headed upstate

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A St. George man accused of shackling and assaulting a woman inside a mobile home near the Staten Island Courthouse is headed to prison.

The defendant, Alexander Isaac, was initially arrested on charges that included rape and possession of a pipe bomb in connection with the March 27, 2023 incident, which unfolded over several hours.
