Summary

Luke Wypler is a technically proficient center who understands how to manipulate defenders by accessing his leverage advantage. His background as a wrestler is evident on his tape. He is a good athlete with range and an excellent ability to locate defenders in space. His ideal fit is in an outside zone-blocking scheme.

Wypler is also good in pass protection. He maintains a low center of gravity and handled counter moves well. He did struggle with his anchor; there were snaps where he was walked back into the pocket, and that’s one of the more glaring issues within his game. He’s also not the longest, so initiating contact against certain DLs could be an issue. Wypler is a smart center who should be a longtime starter in the league at the next level.
