Inside Taylor Swift’s Incredibly Long Travel Plans to Cheer on Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII

The Kansas City Chiefs punched their ticket to the Super Bowl on Sunday after a 17–10 victory over the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium.

And yes, pop star Taylor Swift plans to be in attendance to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Chiefs for Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas on Feb. 11. But it’s not going to be quite a walk in the park for her to get to the big game.

Swift has a concert currently scheduled for Feb. 10 in Tokyo, Japan, the final show in a four-night stretch of events at the Tokyo Dome. 

Since Tokyo is 17 hours ahead of Las Vegas, Swift’s show starts in Japan around 1 a.m. PT Saturday, as NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport recently pointed out. If the concert lasts around five hours, she’ll be done performing around 6 a.m. PT Saturday, leaving plenty of time for a flight to Vegas that covers just under 6,000 miles in about 13 hours.

Swift would arrive to Las Vegas late Saturday night, comfortably ahead of Super Bowl LVIII kickoff, scheduled for 3:30 p.m. PT Sunday.

Mystery solved.
