On Friday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will face off against the Memphis Grizzlies in Tennessee.

For the game, the Lakers will have their two best players in the starting lineup, as Anthony Davis and LeBron James are both available.

Via Jovan Buha of The Athletic: "Anthony Davis and LeBron James are both available tonight, per the Lakers."

James is averaging 25.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, 8.2 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 53.8% from the field and 41.2% from the three-point range in 69 games.

Davis is also having an excellent season with averages of 24.5 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.4 blocks per contest while shooting 55.4% from the field and 28.0% from the three-point range in 74 games.

He had missed the team's last game, so he returns after a one-game absence.

The Lakers are the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 45-35 record in 80 games.

They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game losing streak.

Following Memphis, the Lakers will visit Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday afternoon.

As for the Grizzlies, they are the 13th seed in the Western Conference with a 27-53 record in 80 games.

They will not qualify for the NBA playoffs (or the play-in tournament).

Following their showdown with Los Angeles, the Grizzlies will play their next game on Sunday afternoon when they host Jamal Murray and the Denver Nuggets in Memphis.
