Giannis Antetokounmpo's Injury Status For Bucks-Magic Game

On Sunday afternoon, the Milwaukee Bucks will face off against the Orlando Magic in Florida.

For the game, the Bucks will remain without their best player, as two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo has been ruled out.

The two-time MVP has missed each of the previous two games, so this will be his third straight out of the starting lineup.

On April 10, the Bucks announced an update on Antetokounmpo.

Via The Milwaukee Bucks on April 10: "MEDICAL UPDATE: Giannis Antetokounmpo left last night’s win vs. Boston in the third quarter with a left soleus (calf) injury.

Antetokounmpo underwent an MRI last night that confirmed the diagnosis of a left soleus (calf) strain. He will miss the remaining three games of the regular season and receive daily treatment and evaluation."

Antetokounmpo had another incredible regular season with averages of 30.4 points, 11.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.1 blocks per contest while shooting 61.1% from the field and 27.4% from the three-point range in 73 games.

The Bucks are the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 49-32 record in 81 games.

They have gone 3-7 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of 125-107.

As for the Magic, they are the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 46-35 record in 81 games.

They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a three-game losing streak.

Most recently, the Magic lost to the Philadelphia 76ers by a score of 125-113.
