There were good ideas in this movie, but there were too many of them and ultimately none of them were followed through to a worthwhile conclusion. I wish it had been multiple stories in an anthology. My greatest wish for this movie though, is that it didn’t try to be so edgy. It made for some awkward and out of pocket dialogue, and not in a fun way. All the characters spouted outrageous comments nonstop and no one ever reacted to each other. It flattened the interactions and made you embarrassed for the actors. Not all bad, but mostly bad.

I loved this movie! Couldn't tell in the beginning if it was going to be campy or not but it was the best kind of gory and enjoyed the storyline. I really hope it gets a sequel!

Review didn’t let me finish. So, it was a very good and interesting plot and for people that didn’t understand, the mother was there the whole time posing as her dad, she didn’t just randomly show up. Someone else asked how these women became what they are. Well, the aunt explains that they can pass this gift on with crucial judgment so at the end when she made the cake, she was passing her gift to all those other girls. And the perpetrator was the principal/her real father, who was abusing his gift. I think it was a very good plot, and kept my interest. The only reason I took one star away was the very end, when they show the protagonist with sharp teeth pulling out the dudes heart. Like I thought they were shapeshifting empathizes, not vampires. So that was a bit corny. Otherwise, nice witchy type film.
