POLICE are asking for help from the public following a report of damage to a vehicle in the North Roe area.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who could help with their enquiries to the incident that happened sometime between Sunday and Monday.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on telephone 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number CR/0097636/24.
COASTGUARD rescue teams responded to a report of a person who had gone into the water off a pleasure boat at the Lerwick marina on Monday.
The alarm was raised at about 1.55pm. The Lerwick lifeboat was also sent out.
The person was recovered safely to the quayside and taken to hospital by ambulance.
NHS workers are being offered the chance to experience the mobile sauna at the St Ninian’s beach free of charge.
In particular Haar Sauna are keen to hear from NHS social prescribers.
Social prescribing is a healthcare approach that connects individuals with non-medical activities, groups, and services in their community to address practical, social, and emotional needs that impact overall wellbeing.
Some sessions have already taken place but there is an opportunity for NHS workers to use the sauna at 6pm on Friday (22 March).

LERWICK Town Hall will light up purple to help raise awareness of epilepsy for ‘Purple Day’ on Tuesday 26 March.
Purple Day was founded in Canada by nine-year-old Cassidy Megan in 2008 and is an opportunity to get people talking about epilepsy and dispel the myths and stigma attached to the condition.
The town hall will join more than 40 buildings and landmarks which will be lit up purple.
SHETLAND’s tourism industry will be represented at VisitScotland’s flagship travel trade event in Aberdeen next month.
