Royal Family

The British royal family is one of the most well-known and respected monarchies in the world. The monarchy has been around for centuries, but many have grown obsessed with the modern monarchy.

The late Queen Elizabeth II ascended to the throne in 1952 and was the longest-reigning monarch in British history. The Queen's husband, Prince Philip, passed away in 2021. They have four children: King Charles III, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward.

King Charles III ascended the throne in 2022, making his eldest son Prince William the heir apparent. Charles has another son named Prince Harry, who is fifth in line for the throne. William and his wife, Catherine Princess of Wales's three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—are second, third, and fourth in line for the throne.

The royal family plays ceremonial roles in the United Kingdom and often engages in various charitable organizations and events that are important to them, the country, and the world.
