Michael Jackson’s legacy lives on through his three children, sons Prince Michael Jackson, and Prince Michael Jackson II (formerly known as “Blanket, now known as “Bigi”), and daughter Paris Jackson. What’s remarkable about his kids is how unique each of their personalities are — they’ve each chosen a path that shows not only their creative side, but their independent streak.
Prince Michael graduated cum laude with a business degree from Loyola Marymount University in 2019 and is still inspired by the lessons he learned from his father. He recalled to Fox Soul the great advice he received from Michael years ago about constantly seeking knowledge, “And my father also would say something along the lines of, ‘The minute that you stop learning is the minute that you’re going to start dying.'”
Paris is the superstar of the family, whether it’s walking the runway or the red carpet or following in her pop star dad’s footsteps with her music career. She was always a daddy’s girl and speaks fondly of the special moments she shared with Michael. “My dad was really good about making sure we were cultured, making sure we were educated, and not just showing us, like, the glitz and glam — like hotel hopping, five-star places,” she told Naomi Campbell on her YouTube series, No Filter.
And of course, there is the sweet and shy Bigi, who is now an adult and has chosen to live his life out of the spotlight (except for the now-dormant Film Family movie review show he briefly starred in). He bought a $2.5 million home in Calabasas, California behind a gated community in 2020 where he’s safe from the prying eyes of paparazzi. But most of all, the three siblings are still close and have stuck together through the hard times — and it’s evident from all of the photos over the years.
