SEN 1116am celebrates record ratings with highest Breakfast share in station history

SEN 1116am is again celebrating another record ratings result, with its breakfast line-up achieving the highest breakfast ratings in the history of the station.

Breakfast with Garry Lyon & Tim Watson (Tuesday – Thursday), Kane Cornes & Nathan Buckley (Monday), and Kane Cornes & David King (Friday) achieved the highest breakfast share with a 5.2% share among All People 10+ $.

SEN 1116am, Melbourne’s Home of Sport, delivered a 4.8% share among All People 10+ and has a cumulative audience of 412,000 listeners, as revealed by the GfK Survey 4, 2024 released today.

SEN’s Friday night AFL Nation coverage rated number one, delivering an 11.7% share among All People 10+^.

The AFL Nation team, made up of Gerard Whateley, Dwayne Russell, Gerard Healy, and Brad Johnson, was further dominant during the call of the game, reaching a 16.4% share among All People during the 8pm – 9pm hour, and a 16.6% share among All People during the 9pm – 10pm hour.

In the coveted demographic of All People 25-54, SEN 1116am outrated 3AW. SEN 1116am achieved a 5.6% share among All People 25-54, with a cumulative audience of 189,898.

SEN 1116am also achieved the second highest streaming result for all stations in Melbourne, behind 3AW, however ahead of all FM Stations, with a 10.3% share among All People 10+.

Other highlights include:

  • ‘Whateley’ with Gerard Whateley: Reached a 5.1% share among All People 10+^^.
  • ‘Dwayne’s World’ with Dwayne Russell: Achieved a 4.5% share among All People 10+^^^.
  • The Run Home with Andy & Gazey: Secured a 4.7% share among All People 10+ %.
  • Crunch Time: Achieved a 4.4% share (All People, 10+, Saturday 11am – 1pm).
  • AFL Nation Saturday Afternoon coverage: Achieved a 6.4% share (All People, 10+, Saturday 1pm – 4:30pm).
  • Finey’s Final Siren with Mark Fine: Achieved a 10.3% share (All People, 10+, Friday 11pm – 12am).
  • Sunday afternoon AFL Nation coverage: Achieved a 7.6% share (All People, 10+, Sunday 1pm – 4pm).

Strong results continued for SEN in Sydney and Brisbane with Sydney’s SEN 1170am delivering its highest ever share with 3% among All People 10+ and latest recruit Brisbane’s SENQ delivering increases in share and cumulative audience right across the day. Breakfast with Pat & Heals again achieved their best result since launch with a 2.4% share among All People 10+.
