Our mission is to provide employment and training opportunities to people with disabilities and other barriers to employment.

Our Core Values:

We are 100 percent local and 100 percent not-for-profit.  All of our programs and services are provided at no cost to all San Diego County residents.

In 2023:

  • 2,629 people obtained work through Goodwill San Diego.
  • 1,597 people were employed by Goodwill San Diego.
  • 123 Goodwill San Diego Ambassadors earned a promotion.
  • More than 6,561 people were served!

Meet with a Goodwill Community Employment Center Career Advisor for free job search assistance, one-on-one, in person or online, in English or Spanish.  Our soft skill workshops (Job Application, Résumé Builder, Ace the Interview, Workplace Communication, Conflict Resolution, Exceptional Customer Service, and Financial Literacy) are available daily in English and Spanish.  Sign up today and let us help you reach your career goals.  Earn our Job Readiness Program Certificate by taking all of our workshops and meeting with a Career Advisor two times per week for two weeks.  Let Hiring Managers know you are well-prepared and are serious about your career.

Please call ahead if you are planning to donate furniture. We stop accepting furniture once our holding capacity is full. We appreciate your understanding and acknowledge the effort required to load and move furniture.

We welcome your monetary donations, vehicles, real property and legacy gifts too.  Last year, over 90 percent of our revenue came from your generous donations.  Thank you for Making Good Happen!
