Shirley A. Childs (Bruyneel) OBITUARY

Shirley Ann Bruyneel Childs, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on June 20, 2024, in Riverside, Ca. Born on January 2, 1943, Shirley attended Ramona High School, class of 1960.She is survived by her devoted husband, Bryan “Bud” Childs, her children: Shawna Meinbresse, Gerald “Jerry” Stayner, Debbie Chadwell, Darcy Morrison, spouse Leslie, Lara Wall, spouse Michael, Krystle Conley, spouse Jeremiah, brother John Bruyneel,10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.Preceded in death by her parents, John and Vera Bruyneel, sister Donna Kraemer, and brother Jerry Bruyneel.Shirley’s life was marked by her devotion to family and friends. Including long time best friends Nicki McGuirk and Janet Bergson. Her hobbies included bowling, crafting, gospel music, and sports. Her adventurous spirit, traveling the world with Bud brought her the most joy. A funeral and celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer, 7944 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, Ca. July 8, 2024 at 10am. Graveside service at Crestlawn Memorial Park, 11500 Arlington Ave., Riverside Ca. 11:30 am. With reception to follow at the family home. Shirley’s warmth, love, and zest for life will be remembered by all. She will be truly missed.
