David Allen
A native of the Land of Lincoln (that's Illinois), David Allen has been writing for newspapers since 1987, beginning with the Santa Rosa News-Herald, the Rohnert Park-Cotati Clarion, the Petaluma Argus-Courier and the Victor Valley Daily Press, all in California, and for the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin since 1997. Specialties include local government, arts and culture, people, places, local history, dining and changes to the local scene. The latter includes businesses that are closing after __ years and how that's a rotten shame. David's columns have been collected into three books: "On Track," "Getting Started" and "Pomona A to Z." He's a fan of books, music, comic books, libraries, public transit, travel, dining, kindness and the St. Louis Cardinals, not necessarily in that order.
Location: Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA
