New in Fontana

Mooyah has opened its second Inland Empire location.

The restaurant, which specializes in burgers, fries and shakes, is now open in the Sierra Lakes Village, 16155 Sierra Lakes Parkway, Suite 100, Fontana.

The location was formerly El Ranchero.

Hours are 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The chain also has a location in Upland and there are plans to open five more locations throughout San Bernardino County over the next five years.

Changes in Redlands

Two Redlands burger joints have recently changed hands.

The former Bravo Burgers at 1911 W. Redlands Blvd. is now Redlands Burgers.

Hours are 6 a.m.-9 p.m. daily.

R Burgers has replaced the former Tom’s No. 1 World’s Famous Chiliburgers at 1280 Alabama St.

Hours are 5 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 a.m.-midnight Friday and Saturday.

The chain also has locations in Riverside, Moreno Valley and Ontario, as well as Las Vegas.

Rialto reopening

Tacos La Central has reopened its Rialto location.

The drive-thru restaurant, 601 E. Foothill Blvd., was closed for refurbishment.

The small chain also has a (non-drive-thru) restaurant in Colton.

Fan favorite returns

When Arby’s discontinued its potato cakes back in 2021, many fans of the deep-fried delicacy were disappointed.

Recently, however, the roast beef chain brought them back.

In celebration of the item’s temporary return, the chain is also offering up some potato cake swag, including a necklace, candle, pin, T-shirt, and hoodie.

The items will be available at www.arbysshop.com beginning July 9.

Cost is $3.29 for two, $3.59 for three and $3.99 for four.

The chain hasn’t indicated how long the potato cakes will be available.

All-you-can-eat deal ending

I recently discovered that Buffalo Wild Wings was offering an all-you-can-eat boneless wings deal on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Unfortunately, that deal is ending July 10.

The deal ($19.99) includes fries and is available for dine-in only.

Inland Empire Buffalo Wild Wings locations include Riverside, San Bernardino, Rancho Cucamonga, Montclair, Eastvale, Chino Hills, Corona, Moreno Valley, Temecula, Menifee, Hemet, Murrieta, Apple Valley and Palm Desert.

New McNugget sauce

McDonald’s will launch a new Chicken McNugget sauce on July 9.

The new sauce, Special Grade Garlic Sauce features notes of garlic and soy sauce, according to a press release.

It’s inspired by the black garlic sauce available at McDonald’s in Japan

It’s being released in collaboration with the anime series “Jujutsu Kaisen” and cups will be decorated with characters from the show.

The limited-time sauce will be available for free with app Chicken McNugget purchases or can be purchased for use with other items.
