Jianchun Li, 40, was employed and lived at a home on the 23800 block of Sapphire Canyon Road where the women were found just past 8 a.m. Saturday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said in a Saturday evening update.

The victims were identified as 83-year-old Hee Sook Park and 75-year-old Monica Lee, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s database. Where exactly the two women were found and the types of injuries, if any, they had was not immediately revealed by authorities.

The Sheriff’s Department was conducting a homicide investigation and in a statement said Li was arrested “in connection with the murder of two female adults.”

ABC7 reported the home is an assisted living business.
