From the Archives goes above San Diego today with this photo of a plane over the Miramar Air Show in 1969. The original caption includes the name Waldo Waterman but provides no further information. Waterman was an aviation pioneer from San Diego. He is a member of the International Air and Space Hall of Fame. His planes included the Arrowplane, Autoplane and Waterman Arrowbile. He died in 1976 at age 82.
