Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch Active 4 in early August 2021. Both smartwatches will run Google's next-generation Wear OS platform and feature the One UI skin. While most of the features of the upcoming smartwatches were leaked already, a major new Galaxy Watch 4 feature has now surfaced online.

The Galaxy Watch 4 will reportedly come with a BIA (Bio-Electrical Impedance Analysis) sensor, which can measure body fat composition. This information was revealed by tipster Max Weinbach. The BIA sensor can display a user's body fat percentage in relation to lean body mass. It is an essential part of a person's health and nutrition assessment. The Galaxy Watch 4 can help you understand how far away you are from your fat-burning goals.

Galaxy Watch 4 specs: What to expect?

It was rumored earlier this year that the Galaxy Watch 4 would feature blood glucose measurement, which can be very helpful to those who are suffering from diabetes. However, the feature was reportedly dropped for unknown reasons. Going by previous leaks and reports, the Galaxy Watch 4 will have a circular Super AMOLED display, accelerometer, barometer, gyro, GPS, heart-rate monitor, SpO2 reading, and sleep monitoring.

The Galaxy Watch 4 will come equipped with Samsung's brand-new 5nm Exynos chipset. The watch is also rumored to feature a rotating bezel, an IP68 certification, LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0 with LE, NFC (for Samsung Pay), loudspeaker, microphone, and Qi wireless charging. The Galaxy Watch Active 4, which lacks a rotating bezel, has a smaller screen and body when compared to the Galaxy Watch 4.
