In this live-action film, an orphaned baby African elephant named Whispers wanders alone in the wilderness. Luckily, he finds a maternal figure in Groove (Angela Bassett), an older elephant who is used to traveling on her own. The unlikely pachyderm pair make their way through various dangerous environs and try their best to avoid predators lurking about. As they search for a legendary riverside safe haven, Whispers and Groove gradually form a close bond.

Essa filmagens da vida animal sempre me encantam e intrigam, fico a imaginar quanto tempo desprendido no meio da savana para adquirir imagens perfeitas, já assisti a um documentário a respeito, das dificuldades enfrentadas por esses cinegrafistas, e ao criarem uma historinhas/roteiro fofinhos e fantásticos que torna tudo mais apaixonante e cativante... Adorável...

The storyline lacks and is kind of terrible. But, I really liked the way the movie captured real animals and told a fictional story. The fact that the movie used these real animals made the movie worth the watch.

I'm not crazy about the live-action animal movies. But this one was really bad, I have to say. I couldn't pay attention at all, so I highly doubt that a small child would. I felt that it was incredibley boring and kind of wierd. It didn't entertain me or inspire me in the least. Don't waste your time on this movie.

As far as kids movies based on live action animals go, this one is better than most. Still, some pretty chilling scenes that children should not see, and I'm assuming that's their targeted audience,

Great Pictures of the African Nature and Animals i love Elephants and in this Film it shows their Days and Nights from a Romantic but Realistic Perspective the Viewer solidarize with the Elephants and the Wilderers seems like the Wild Animals
