Man From The Moon M Classic action flick with high octane action scenes. Both pre-Matrix era Keanu and Bullock are young, charming and handsome. The stakes and the tension are always high, it's very exciting. The story is character-driven, the protagonists and the hostages are very likeable characters. The antagonist is not a very complex character, but his goal is very down to earth, which is rare among action films. The cinematography is not beautiful, but the movie is extremely well-shot. The editing is also great, while the sound effects are outstanding. This movie has one or two jaw dropping scenes, but much of it is predictable. I also felt that they went too far with the action here and there. Speed is among the best action movies ever made, even though I have a few criticisms about it. Speed is a 1994 American action thriller film directed by Jan de Bont (in his feature directorial debut) 🚌 It’s very good! 😀 I’d recommend it 👍🏼 This film doesn’t always make perfect sense, but it sure is a thrilling ride… Jack Traven, an LAPD cop on SWAT detail, and veteran SWAT officer Harry Temple thwart an extortionist-bomber's scheme for a $3 million ransom. As they corner the bomber, he flees and detonates a bomb vest, seemingly killing himself. Weeks later, Jack witnesses a mass transit city bus explode and nearby a pay phone rings. On the phone is that same bomber looking for vengeance and the money he's owed. He gives a personal challenge to Jack: a bomb is rigged on another city bus - if it slows down below 50 mph, it will explode - bad enough any day, but a nightmare in LA traffic.
